SkyMed’s Membership Plans

Specifically designed for the U.S. Virgin Island Community

SkyMed has created 3 membership plans to benefit the USVI community. USVI residents have the option of choosing our SkyMed Basic, the SkyMed NATEO or the SkyMed NATO membership plans.

SkyMed Basic Plan

The SkyMed Basic Plan offers Skymed’s most basic air-repatriation services. The primary benefits of this plan are:

Transportation to San Juan, Puerto Rico
Transportation to Florida for burn or trauma victims
Transportation to PRIVATE hospitals working closely with Pavia Hospital Group
If a bed cannot be reserved in a private hospital, transportation to Florida will be arranged at no additional cost.
Plus other services outlined in our brochure or Member Service Agreement.

The basic plan is $120 Individual/$240 Family on an annual SkyMed Membership. There is an one time application fee of $30 Individual/$40 Family.

North American Transport Economy Option

The SkyMed NATEO Plan offers SkyMed members the option to be transported to the closest US mainland hospital. For the U.S. Virgin Island community, this hospital would be in Florida. The primary benefits of this plan are:

All of the services in the SkyMed Basic Plan plus
Transportation to the closest US mainland hospital

The NATEO plan is $216 Individual/$336 Family on an annual SkyMed Membership. There is an one time application fee of $30 Individual/$40 Family.

North American Transport Option

The SkyMed NATO Plan, while similar to the NATEO plan, extends the member’s medical destination to anywhere in the USA or Canada. SkyMed is the only company authorized by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Banking and Insurance to sell the NATO plan. The primary benefits of this plan are:

All of the services in the SkyMed Basic Plan plus
Transportation to the US or Canadian city of member’s choice

The NATO plan is $420 Individual/$660 Family for an annual SkyMed membership. There is an one time application fee of $30 Individual/$40 Family.
